My Testimony
I believe: The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It was inspired by God and written by men. I believe the stories in the Bible actually happened by the power of a supernatural, all mighty God.
I believe in the Trinity. God, the Father, God, the son is Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. I believe God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.
I believe Satan is a fallen angel whose mission is to turn humankind away from God into sin.
I believe God created the heavens and the earth and all that lives on the earth. He created angels and we are to worship God not angels. God created man a little lower than the angels. Humans were created to worship God and be a companion to Him. Mankind sinned by disobeying God. Because of that original sin, all men are born in sin and must be saved from sin.
Because mankind could not obey the law, God sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross. His blood is the sacrifice for man’s sin. The Bible says God forgives sin and forgets it. I believe when a person accepts Jesus as Savior their sins are forgiven and they are pure to stand before God in judgment.
I believe Jesus is God’s Son, born of the virgin Mary. He walked on earth. He was fully God and fully Man.
He was crucified but rose on the third day as he said he would. He ascended to heaven with the promise that he would return.
I believe people who do not accept Jesus as Savior are separated from God eternally in what some call hell. Persons who accept Jesus as Savior live forever with God in heaven.
I believe the Bible is an instruction book given for guidance, for meditation and for education.
I believe Jesus is coming again. I know I will be judged and found not guilty because I have accepted Jesus as my Savior. I know I will see loved ones in heaven and spend eternity with Jesus, my family and those many persons I have read about in the Bible.
